Petite Exhibition

My friend Kamil and I exhibited some of our illustrations in the bar “Das Gift” last week. They have a little room for art shows in the back. I showed some of my animal studies and Kamil his iPad sketches on canvas. So we had a nice combination of analog and digital work. It was my first “real” exhibition. Exciting! In the beginning I was a bit nervous about it though. I have some kind of stage fright when it comes to presenting my own artwork. Anyhow, I am very happy we did this.

Next time I want to have my stuff displayed on canvas as well and preferably in a bigger size. I can imagine that my Chameleon would look really grand filling a whole wall.

Done putting everything up. I am not, however, satisfied with how I hanged my work. I need a better concept how to arrange everything better next time. If you click on the thumbnail where Kamil is posing with the drink, that´s me in the right iPad sketch. I think I should purchase this from him. Sorry for the lousy photo quality by the way, we just brought our mobile phones.
